I wasn't prepared for this book. I wasn't prepared to the range of the emotions i felt while reading it, how emotional invested i truly was.I wasn't prepared for the beauty of it. Me before You is not a romance but it's indeed a love story,and how they changed each other lives irrevocably. I told him a story of two people.Two people who shouldn't have met, and who didn't like each other much when they did, but who found they were the only two people in the world who could possibly have understood each other. Louisa just lost her job. She never went away from her small town, she is afraid to get away from her own "box". She keeps it safe.Will was a successful young man, on the top of his game. He lead an adventurous life, he was in a relationship, he had everything he could possible want. He lived well and enjoyed every second of it. Until one rainy mourning in London, changed the curse of his life. He became a quadriplegic.Will's and Louisa life intersect after 2 years from his accident, where she became his companion and helper.Then we get to see 6 months of their lives, there are moments that will make you laugh and smile, other moments that you'll feel heartbroken and unbelievable sad. This book is a journey, not so showing the life of a disabled person but also of the people who surrounds him. It's a story how they brought the best in each other, and how they could truly see each other.It's one of those book that will make you think about lot of things such as life,death, love, hope, despair, dignity ...
